To Catch Up – Please look at previous post of my Entresto 3 to 4 week Trial Diary!
I had visited Patrick, my Doctor at Hindon Surgery, because my dizzy unstable problems, though luckily less savage, were still making me feel odd and worried. He explained that my blood pressure was good and my heart rhythms were fine, so the symptoms were put down to the effect of Entresto on all my past disorders (not just heart failure) and possibly its reaction with the medication I had become used to over the past years. Patrick thought I should carry on with taking Entresto, because if I didn’t, I would probably have to go through all the same disruptions to my day to day living, if I swapped drugs again. Also Entresto’s hugely positive results on other patients, must not be ignored.
I am so pleased I stuck with it, because now, I am feeling really good. I can walk much further and am far more active than I have been in years. I also have very, very few times with that terrible shortness of breath, so often experienced before.
My cardio check on the 6th June showed positive results and although I still feel a little dizzy on some days, as long as I slow down and have a rest as soon as I start to wobble, it passes and I can happily get on with life. The main point is, not to overdo it and when my body tries to tell me to take it easy, I now listen!
I will make a video this week of my walking and exercise abilities, compared with my those before I was taking Entresto. Update coming later!
