Bit of a blip for four days but now getting back up there again. My terrific cardiac nurse Becky at Odstock Hospital in Salisbury, told me to expect these highs and lows for a number of months to come. OK, throughout my heart failure experience I have got used to these, but somehow now these peaks and troughs seem more controlled and less savage. I had four days of feeling sick, wobbly and unsteady, with blocked nasal, almost sinus-like, passages making my head ache very heavily; sleeping was also light and patchy. However I have not felt out of breath or over tired, despite having a busy time with visitors and family. I am now signed out of the emergency visit section of cardiac care in Odstock, so relief all round. It’s looking good in every direction! I will keep you updated.
